Our Origin Story

Black Mountain Adventures is named after the famed Swartberg Mountains of the Western Cape Region in South Africa. Swartberg (meaning Black Mountains in Afrikaans) is the local name for one of the more rugged and imposing mountain ranges in the region.

He has extensively traveled across Southern Africa, exploring its diverse landscapes and cultures. Kevin's passion for the rugged beauty of South Africa and his in-depth knowledge of the region ensure that every tour is a unique and enriching experience.
